I'd say Zikel is probably about in the middle, not the most populated or least populated server.

Chanter is rly cool class. You can grind solo without problems. Also you don't have problems with find group for instances. If you like character which boost all party:
- buffs for hp and def
- mantras which boost atack, crit, regen and more
- you can heal - not so good as cleric, but not bad at all if you have recovery spell I
- you can atack - with buff build you can did nice dmg and you will not have any problems with monsters

Its up to you, but chanter is rly cool.

whats the most active server?

well in patch 1.9 they are combing alot of servers so it doesnt really matter seeingh as how the patch is coming out in early june

Dont forget, you do nice débuff on monster

i started 2 nights ago, now i got a lvl 15 chanter.10 glad, 10 mage, so fun even in starting areas
