Aion has the PvP.
WoW has the PvE.
Dont touch Aion if you want PvE content, it hardly exists unless you like running the same instance 10 times a day.
Aion doesnt have the best PvP around, but I feel its much better than PvP in WoW.
As far as botting goes, WoW bots were everywhere in BC. It was hard not to notice them farming elementals in nagrand and shadowmoon for days and days.
They switched to mostly farming ore and herbs in wrath. Would just load programs to allow them to run under the map to avoid being reported and to avoid PvP and still be able to farm nodes.
Aion has its pros just as WoW does. Dont think one is better than the other.
Both games have their cons for sure but your reasons are wrong. WoW does have fairly good pvp on top of their pve.
Blizzard is usually on top of keeping their game up to date with patches to keep you playing the game. Though WoW still will become repetitive if you play it long enough.
Aion is quite grindy and the pvp is very broken. Flight pvp is a really bad idea and if you play aion long enough, you'll see why.
The pvp through dredgion and rifts is extremely fun simply cause you can't fly! Too bad there's just not enough of it. You can enter 1 rift zone when you're 50 and 1 instanced pvp zone at specific times during the day which is absolute fail considering the rest of the game is grind.
Aion is heavily imbalanced once a large majority of players start getting geared out too.
Aion also has some pve but there's so little of it, just like the pvp. In my opinion, the game is far from complete.
