Hardcore Players from DAOC and EQ and shit already been thru that grind really, at least you can solo practically at any lvl in aion.

Aion is a good Korean PvP-based game with potential. If you're looking for something amazing that is finished and perfect, then that's not Aion. If you want a game that takes some work to be the best and has the potential to be a really good game, then give Aion a try. If you're a casual or have never played MMOs and don't know basic things, don't.

thanks for this advice, im pretty sure im going to try it sometime in the near future.

and really what i love most in games is soloing most things, as well as the pvp.

A game made by koreans. Extremely grindy and not quite complete. There needs to be alot of content added for end game.
Basically the whole goal right now is to get level 50 and hardcore grind out some gear. But wait, what do you do with this gear once you have it all? Not much really. There's no incentive for you to login once you're completely decked out. There are only 2 major level 50 pve instances, one of which is mind numbingly boring and the other actually requires quite a bit of balaur materials to enter.

Also there's still quite a few things to be worked out. Like for example, factions aren't quite balanced yet. It's much easier to get gear for elyos because of the raid bosses. Not only that, balaur mats are difficult to get if you're on the losing faction, so you'll be somewhat fucked in the fenril's grind if your server is dominated by a faction, which is usually the elyos.


The best way to put it is, the game is good but is incomplete. Similar to the situation with lineage2. That game had so many issues that needed to be worked out. I believe it took about 2 years for much needed content to actually to be added.
