Your point? So what if other people bot/buy kinah? Just because someone does, doesn't mean you have to do it too. It really is the RMT going on that is ruining the economy on most servers, it's the reason why prices on a lot of items (especially crafted stuff + mats) keep getting higher. And its things like this that are driving many legit players to not wish to play this game anymore (not including me) and its a shame because this game has the potential to be great. Also, I fail to see how admonishing those who would buy kinah is a bad thing and making the game worse.

My rl friend bought kinah from a gold farm, about 8 hours later his account was banned.
He sent an email to ncsoft, asking why he was banned, they sent him back an email stating that he was dealing with gold spammers and they didn't like it.
At the end of the email they said, they'll unban his account, but he is now under a close eye.

If they perm banned everyone that bought gold they'd lose waaaay too much money in subscriptions every month.

Our other friend bought gold 2 weeks ago and hasn't had a single problem. The chinese folks are finding better ways to deliver and disguise sold gold.

the amt of people they catch n let off the hook with warnings for shit that usually earns you a permaban in other games is astounding. 'n even when they ban alot of the time its like 3 days, 7 days.

waaaaaaaaaaah people are doing stuff that does not effect me much. I don't wanna play! Cry more. I am tired of people claiming they quit cause of bots/rmt. It only affects you through AH. Guess what if you farm your items are worth theirs also.

I never said I didn't want to play because of it or quit... L2read. I still play consistently and don't have plans to quit anytime soon. The point I'm trying to make is that the botting/RMT is having a negative effect on the game and if you think it doesn't affect the legit players much, you're naive. And even if you farm your own mats, botters will always be able to do it at less of an expense of their time and they do farm quest mobs too, so it isn't only affecting the economy.
