You bring your char only to 25lv. You just unlock first abyss instance. At 30 lv you will unlock another instance + you will gain access to more fields with elites mobs. What does it mean? About quests: you read all quests? I don't. Why? Lore in this game is lack. I know it before buy this game, and for me this is ok. I will match quests problem with your another point which was grinding. I was playing Warahmmer:Online before Aion. In Warhammer Online questing for good, but not great, but grind was better. In my opinion Warhammer: Online shows the best way how to grind your lv without boring. In Aion grinding is rly bad. When you see at 35 lv 16 milions xp to get, you will fell sick, but w8! You can find group, go farm elites mobs, make quests (sometimes pretty good) and your xp is growing If you don't like grinding, you should choice game without lv's About SM i can't say anything (ofc its easy to kill for me, thats all), but as i know in 1.16 your pet will fly. This is big improvment for your class, you should check this out Also in new patch xp from quest will be incressed

Kinah: yeah this is big numbers of this value, but common, you can handle that

Craft: pretty good think. You can earn kinah, you can make your set, you can cook gg food. Many ways to gets profit, but w8! Profits without hard-work and sacriface? Who need easy mode? If you spend plany of time in crafitng you will get benefits - this is good.

Inventory/WH: If you pay you will incress size of your "backpack", which can grove to good size. Anyway i haven't saw anygame with uncountable size of backpack, so you can handle that


You should give this game another chance, find good legion, choice the best character for you, and try enjoy again. Fun is starting in this game at 30lv for sure (with more elites, players to kill).

I don't read the Quest Text lol, because like you said the lore is not so good in Aion. But there are still only two types of quests - Kill/Gather which is pretty boring.
I expanded my cube to the fullest, and still had a severe lack of space - not a big issue but still something that I disliked; same with the gold amounts and spammers  - yah I can handle it but I don't think I want to.

Don't get me wrong there is definitely a ton of potential in this game, I will probably come back in a couple months and give it another shot

Not having fun anymore, not sure what it is but I have no desire to continue. Level 25 SM, with two or three 13-15's.

Pro's:

Graphics are great.
Character customization is nice.
Abyss is a good way to mix up the grind.
PvP is fun.
I enjoyed the ability to set up a private shop wherever I felt like it.
Armor Dyes!

Cons:

Grouping feels clunky.
Gold Spammers
Quests are repetitive, and uninteresting.
My goddamn pets desummon every three seconds.
Very grindy.
Currency by the hundreds of thousands is annoying.
Gathering profession (Extracting) TERRIBLE to level.
Inventory/Warehouse space - there was never enough.
