I think it balances out about the same, but personally i like leveling/grinding in groups.
imo its more xp/h as long as everyone is pulling their own wieght.
The only downfall in this is that you share loot

I think, solo what you can (effeiciently), if you get a lil stuck/bored. then get a group
Groups are handy, if you make friends then its a mate who might be doing the same tomorrow or even get some tanks/healers for later groups

but yeh, fly safe

loot isnt that bad of a deal, we wear different armor classes and I reserve all fluxes for crafting =)
