Wow is dying slowly. All the hardcore players are leaving because shits easy. Cataclysm sounds gay as hell.

That's why you play during the beta.
And WoW only started doing that later on. They didn't offer a free trial when the game had just come out.

WoW is not dying by any means, it's still #1 MMO in the world without anything resembling competition.

That doesn't change the fact that WoW is now catering to the casuals; the game has become stupid easy mode for 99% of the content. There's not real gratification in gaining gear anymore, people that don't even raid have 2pc Tier 9 and all ilvl 226+gear.

no wow is doing trials b/c its getting a lot of ppls attention, giving them more customers. aion can't do this yet b/c they can't afford to give away money. at least thats my thoughts

Yeah like people said before, WoW is not dying, its just that all whats left are casual. Its like 95% casual 5% hardcore now. It only lost like 5-10% of its population wich were the hardcore, but it gained like 20% from casual. Simply a casual game now, and majority of the peoplethat play video games are casuals.
