I definitely hate what WoW has become. Vanilla was awesome and even some of TBC was okay, the only thing I liked about WoTLK was Wintergrasp and leveling was the most fun I had since i first picked up the game.

why the hell would you get the strategy guides for a non single player game? you can get all the questions answered by those in trade chat.

I'm assuming the books he bought were the lore based one's that bliz has for the warcraft story lines. There are over 15 of them at about 10-15$ a pop iirc.
