Hey, never been in this forum before but I have just recently quit WoW and I played since Vanilla and stopped few days ago for good.

Just wondering if this game is actually worth playing. Can someone gimme some information on it such as updates, level cap, raiding?

I wanna play a game like WoW, but I need a change in MMO's.

I loved raiding and do enjoy some parts of PVP, the grinding levels didn't bother me to much though it got to repetative, "Gather 20 of "xx" and return it to the quest giver" like 500 of those gathering quests :S.

But yeah just looking for some info on this game, if it'd be worth starting up at all and any guilds or what not you know

Also how popular is the game, i obviously know it isn't as big as WoW is, but is it decent at all or what ? Like are servers pretty packed or a random person here and there?

this game is absolute trash do not buy it, im serious wait for star wars the old republic

Games awesome when you play it for free =D I bloody love it, didn't enjoy retail as much.
But the PvP is awesome, lvling's isn't too bad, worth grabbing imo :]

If you're trying to get into it now, its kind of late and not worth it imo. Even though they did make it easier to level, its still a bit of a grind end game for the best gear and stuff. For you to catch up at this point, it will take you months to level and grind to get decent pvp armor now. Plus prices have fluctuated and inflated a lot since they made it easier to make kinah since when the game first launched. I'd advise you to just wait for Guild Wars 2 and/or Diablo 3 to come out.

Yep game is thrash and dying, do not purchase. Especially on official servers, support is terrible.

There are just as many people on Siel as there were when the game first came out. Its pretty epic.

Only because they merged servers. Otherwise there would not be as many people. People are still steadily quitting and will continue to do so as new games come out (SWTOR, GW2, Diablo 3, etc)

it's a great game, i enjoy it. I wouldn't say it's dead, everyone is in the higher areas, and 3.0 comes out soon, adding A LOT of stuff. although, if you're coming from WoW you're going to have a difficult time leveling. it's not hard, but WoW is super easy, getting level 49-50 takes an entire day

PvP is good, but be careful which server you choose, not all are as active as the others. it's not even that expensive anymore, 15 dollars to try it for a month, you should get the first month free when buying the game, not 100% sure though so you should do a bit more research

If you're a fan of WoW i'd definitely say it's worth trying, i personally like it a lot more.
