Back in wow times we had the usual argument about BOE loot. Some people claimed boe loot belonged to the person that could use the item. Some other claimed it belonged to anyone in the group just because they could exchange it or sell it for something they needed.

What happens with group loot in Aion? What mentalities are there and which is the most dominant?

I've noticed on my server anyways that cloth goes to clothies, chain to chanters/clerics. Stigmas and skill books are class rolls unless no one needs it.

Seems to be how Sandman described it. Personally, I dislike that mentality, especially since I can't count how many times people have whined non stop for a piece of loot that was in no way an upgrade. I also roll on any BoE blue items that drop. I've given a couple to people who "needed" them only to have them not equip it. Not that I group often, because frankly I think 90% of people are morons, but pretty soon I'm probably going to just roll on any BoE that drops and offer to sell it if someone "needs" it.

spirit having the same mentality with you, do you think being a templar will have any effect while warning people beforehand that loot is free for all? Will being a templar change anything? Or will people just don't join me?

usually run greens ffa blues roll only if you can use most people prefer that
but most of the time i run with a select group of people that i know so loot doesnt really matter as long as we get the quests done then afterwards we deal with the boe's

why the fuck would people go free for all loot

Well why would you group up with randoms outside of an instance? Other than for maybe one/two group quests. And if its for grinding then you should find an in game friend to party up with. And being jews to eachother just to make a small bit of kinah at the expense of eachothers gear is stupid.

You what? I dont know about you but maybe I'm just not bad enough to have to group with morons. Thankfully there are some decent Legions on my server.
