So I have been messing around with photoshop again. Having tons of fun! I see avatar's are limited to 50kilobytes. How do I make my canvas that size?

Also how do I know the signature size if the image is made from postimages?

Any tutorials or tips would be appreciated. THANKS!!!

Hey

You can upload a 500x500 image as avatar that has no more than 50kb. After uploaded jsp will fit it as avatar. I guess its 67x67 but I'm not sure about that.

Signatures must have 70kb or less and sizes are 400x150 max.

When you save your file in PS you have an option to resize your image. I advice you to use it in Px so its easier for you to know where you at.

Hope this helps. Any further questions feel free to pm.

I never understood that. I just make it the right size to begin with.

Its make a difference with quality,details..
If you use brush and create digital art and you draw hair fine ..if you want hair to be real small like under 1pixel..by making your canvas 1200 or 1600 your brush pixel that start at 1 if you reduce to 400x150 .. your pixel is now 0,25 or 0.33 .. its give more details to image..if you only do cartoon or simply put a render on a background...but if you want to creats small highlight line and add more details to push your design HD bigger canvas is a must..
