Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out how to crop faces and save faces as images.

I don't want to save the backgrounds (white backgrounds etc) so I can paste faces onto gifs without worrying about also posting the background of the photo I've just pasted onto the gif...
Any advice? program recommendation? Thanks. (I'm very new at graphic design etc)

Do you mean cutting out the face of an image and saving it?

Like twitch emotes for example?

If that's what you're trying to do, you can just use photoshop or GIMP selection tools and save it as a PNG image with no background

Heres a basic guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgnQ6CtBXM0

You're welcome

There are other photoshop options that show you how to deal with hair using selection tools

I believe the newer versions of photoshop have even better options for this, but you would need to youtube them as I haven't used them yet. It also depends what software and version you plan on using

The wonderful thing about photoshop is there are many ways to achieve the same result, it's just whatever you find easiest.

Youtube should have everything you're looking for. Best of luck :santa:
