Im looking for a good program to use to make signatures, would like to get into more animated ones and things like that. I currently use a free program called gimp. Its great for editing and creating simple things but lacks in animation and increasing quality. Curious what others are using, hoping to find something decent without having to pay an arm and a leg.

Photoshop is amazing. Dont know about other programs.

Photoshop is really versatile but for jsp you have to find way to reduce size and maintain quality no "easy way"

Aside from these I've heard great things about Correll Paint.

Are you able to do animation with photoshop? Anything like the flames on @archangel's skull or animated overlay like on my sig?
Also @ villn do you know if gimp can do animation? I haven't been able to find anything on it. Any animation I've done with has been "flip book" style with lots of layers and made into a .gif. isthat the best way? Is there a better way? Sorry for all the questions, just trying learn and get better. This is a hobby for me not my day job lol

Yea with photoshop you can do pretty much animation
Theres some anim you can create .. youtube can show a part rest is self learn
