I'm no expert on all of the different styles of painting

What would be the closest type of paint similar to hearthstones digital artistry. I have a project in mind but I mostly just use acrylic and want to branch out


Was thinking gouache would be the closest to mimic the style

Odd and confusing question I know but I don't think I can figure out how to ask what I'm trying to figure out

Also, aside from it being actual digital paintings does it have a name for the way it's done

It is confusing. You are trying to replicate digital painting (which is displayed on screens) with traditional mediums, on canvas/paper and you are asking what colors to use?

I mean sure colors matter, but isnt it more of an artstyle thing? I wont get too deep in the mud cause i don't know enough to advise you.
