So i've never commented on this section of jsp before usually just on hearthstone and diablo 2 and such.

Any ways i have a friend who's a personal trainer and thinking about getting into twitch as well. Him being a bit of a meat head and not the best when it comes to technology he asked me some questions that I have no background in. He was wanting Logos and back grounds and buttons and stuff for Twitch when he does it. The profile he made is just blank without the fancy buttons and stuff to link his sites, profiles, etc. He wants it to look more professional and also have a good background for offline mode instead of it just being blank. Also for his website he'd like to have some background and logo work and stuff to customize it. He said there are plenty of free and cheap sites that can set up websites and make them look professional like wix.com and such but he'd like to have it with good branding that suits him to make it more appealing. How much would all of that run cost wise as a package and as individual sections like each twitch button graphic logo, etc per?

He also wanted to know if people in college to become Graphic Designers ever do that stuff for free to learn and get recommendations. He wanted to know if it's common for small businesses or people to have college kids do it free and then use them as a recommendation on resume or for credits in school. Like they set it up for him and he vouches for them on resume.

Basic stuff like that. Could keep rambling but i think you all will get the point. Would love to hear some feedback on the subject because I myself don't have the knowledge in the field to give him on the subject. I told him just use photoshop and make his own but he wants it professionally done to look good.

No. A random person's recommendation isn't going to do anything for a resume or for any kind of credit. Graphic designers don't take word of mouth payments.

As for the rest just ask in the request forum, tell people to post examples of their work and prices and go from there. None of that stuff is all that difficult. Could also check sites like fiverr if he's super cheap.
