Just to give some info for reference:
We're a two man indie team, a good programmer+ a published author.
At the moment we're not aiming for full commercial release yet, so don't need too many, 10ish portraits at most atm.
Don't need to be too detailed at the moment either. (Want some place holders for our demo that at least give people the idea of what it looks like)

Willing to pay a few thousand FGs for the mockups during our beta phase.
And if we end up using your work/want more will discuss a commission for salary. Will not ask for waiving of rights to your work unless we pay for a commission for commercial use.
(I've been a freelancer for years, won't ask for any free work lol.)

Characters
We're doing planet and ship models in 3D, Maya into Unity. So that aspect is covered. I just struggle with modeling/drawing people.

Yeah we're doing a 2d portraits for the conversations.

The conversations will be a separate "encounter" of sorts.
