I'm being tested by a company to create a wordpress webpage from a PSD file they gave me (wireframe).

I pointed out to them, I would need the specific images/fonts/logos for an exact code mock-up.

They emailed me back saying I should have them FROM the PSD file..

Is this possible? I even downloaded PhotoShop and there are not any other layers in the file they sent me.. just 1 layer and I can't move or do anything with the wireframe..

I don't want to email them back without knowing 100% if I can get these images/logos/fonts from the PSD, could someone please help me clarify?

Might wanna go back to baby steps since you will be using photoshop a lot

I'm mostly a back-end developer.
And I would never need to use photoshop, most teams have dedicated UI/UX designers for a reason.

Since the the psd file got only one flat layer, your best bet would be to "save as" or "save for web" it under png/jpg format.
Then cut the logo with any other picture editor (e.g: paint.net) with which you feel comfortable enough until you got some base with photoshop.

My locked status has nothing to do with me giving you help. Do yourself a favor and watch a simple photoshop youtube video instead of making useless threads like this

Tell them to send you the full PSD file, a flat images is not a PSD, its just an image. If they are stupid and don't have it. You will have to cut up the image

Which is still an easy task if you're not complete dumb.

Also I still dont get why they got you locked... now they just admit that they support $$ vs services on here.

The whole thing was ridiculous, but nothing i can do. Not once did the moderator even ask me for my evidence on the case. He was one sided the whole time.

Which lead to some random repayment agreements that i wasn't even made aware of.

@OP You could always just post the psd in the graphics request section and get someone to cut it for you, if you don't have experience.
