My boss is cool enough to let me hang some of my photographs around the office. Provided of course they are hi RES and framed.
Got the frames. Just need prints.

Last night I went to CVS to get some 11x14 and 16x20 printed up. Turns out they will just mail me them in 7-14 days
So I went on a mad goose chase to find a WalMart with a photo lab in it last night. Turns out they "turn off their machines" at 8pm.
Decided the internet sources would be better.
But I pass by a WalMart on the way home, so I went back today ,put my SD card in the machine.

It said all of my images were unavailable. Even though I could view them, I couldn't edit them or print them on the machine.
Was like "whatever, fuck walmart, I'll go online".
Til I went online and they say they can't accept my images. WTF am I doing wrong?

300ppi Images, cropped to 11x14. ( 3300 x 4200 ) , take up about 15Mb each as .JPG, more for TIFF ( have one of each saved on SD ) , saved as CMYK profile.
neither seem to be accepted at walmart, or on shutterfly.

What am I missing? I usually get 8x10 prints for around the house.
Never had problems printing those out anywhere. Seems like once you go to a small poster size they make it painfully difficult?

Vistaprint worked, I think the files are too large for the other sites.
Thread can be closed, appreciate the help :)

What's the point in taking quality photos if you're gonna print them at places like walmart, shutterfly, and sorry, but vistaprint?

I always get prints through WHCC, you only need to meet a $12 minimum for prints which shouldn't be hard if you're doing large prints every time. And they do two day shipping on everything. They're the only lab I've used that has actually matched what my photos look like on my screen 100%.

No print will ever match your screen 100% lol. Even if you're running calibration daily, you can not correct the white balance on screen to reflect the paper white. I don't use any place to print because I can at my workplace, but I have used vista for some of my personal client work and I was actually surprised at how accurate it was. I'm sure WHCC is great also.
