Messy tbh. Also with typography, you're gonna want to make sure all the words are spelled correctly and any quotes are spot on since that's the only thing people will be looking at.

I missed the top 2 lines at first. Reading it, ...it makes my eye jump like one of those annoying youtube text videos. Also spacing. Some elements there are completely unnecessary (like the flag in the bottom with "it" text).

Second i kinda like and it's okay if you just wanted to get the idea out, "box" pops out more than you probably intended. I agree with what Xan said.

Keep it up!

I would stick to 3 fonts maximum, more than that also adds to the mess.

thanks for the feedback, i agree in the first one the first 3 words get lost, and the it at the bottom seems off. I was trying to figure out how to work it in.

- It's*
- The shape isn't obvious enough. I thought it was a cloud, then a thought bubble, then a tree, then a smoke stack, and now I'm pretty sure it's a mushroom cloud.
- Research more sans serif fonts, especially ones that would facilitate such a design..ones that are more blocky and even. For example, the E's don't have equal extenders, so the gaps look odd when pinched to this extent. Ideally you would find a font family with a condensed version to avoid the text looking skewed. I highly recommend the gotham font family.
- The kerning and leading are the biggest issues. I would use equal leading..right now "asleep" doesn't align with "because you have." "To be" isn't aligned with the divider. There needs to be a lot of custom work done to fix all the ligatures. I recommend outlining the text to freely adjust if you're in illustrator.
- A lot of things need aligned.
- Center "to be" inside its box.
- The top lines should extend beyond the apex of the "A." "It's" and "called the" aren't centered.
- The "to" circle is bottom-aligned with "believe," but it extends above. Either center the circle vertically or reduced the size, so it aligns with the "b."
- Reduce the wave of "it." Try 10%, then center it horizontally and vertically inside the shape.
- The strokes, sizing, and spacing of the guy in the bed aren't consistent. The headboard has a mitered stroke and the guy's body has a rounded stroke. Also, the stroke on the head is smaller than the head board. Make both sides of the bed the same thickness and spacing..match the spacing to the weight of the stroke.
- The bottom ring and shoot of the mushroom cloud are very geometric compared to the top.

Image 2:

- You're*
- The hierarchy doesn't make sense and doesn't have a purpose.
- The casing of the letters is written like a sentence, but it has no period.
- The tangent created by the tip of the ribbon just barely touching the text is distracting. There needs to be some negative space between them.
- The tangent created by the left part of the bench just barely touching the edge of the image is distracting as well. Reduce the size of the bench and center it.
- The ribbon has 1 stripe and the bow has 2 stripes.
- I'm not sure what method you used to create this, but the images look pixelated on the edges. You need to practice your clipping.
- Part of the bow has a drop shadow, while the other part doesn't.

Thank you very much, exactly what I was looking for. I'm going to rework these

I think you put in more effort in CnC that he did in those pieces ^_^
