So the title says it for the most part.

I work for a major sports company, which handles almost all of the imaging done for nearly every licensed sports product you see online, and all of my work is done out of Photoshop.

I'm pretty well versed with the program, but haven't ever had to worry about mass batch processing until this job.

Now to my problem... when I export and save for web, an option near the top right allows to "Optimize to File Size" and I can set the KB amount at which I want to save.

Is there ANY way to have that Optimize to File Size record into an action for batch processing so everything is consistent in file size of would that have to be done through a script?

As it currently stands, the action will record every setting adjusted in the Save for Web export except for that optimize to file size.

It's not the end of the world for me if this can't be done, but it would be a huge QoL improvement and improve workflow.

I don't expect anyone here to know, just figured there may be that one person in here who had a similar problem like this or knows a solution.

Afaik photoshop does not offer a solution for your problem. But I think I've heard that Indesign offers such a feature.

That is very unfortunate to hear, but I figured as much. Currently looking into a few solutions. I do not believe that we have a commercial (full) license for InDesign so that isn't an option.

In any case, thank you for the reply.
