I see Corel is highly regarded.

Thoughts on something that is better?
Price isn't an issues

I normally do Composite work in Photoshop but I wanna burn some time and get back into painting digitally since I could really have some fun with my photography

/edit

I just saw there is a clone tool that can turn my photograph into a painting?

Anyone have samples of this?

Accurate? Actually looks good?

I always try to get a paint/cartoon effect in photoshop and its not super accurate, looks more fake than actually a painting

get drawpile

it's free and simple and has a chat feature so you can watch and learn from other more experienced artists. Works online and offline. iScribble is also a solid browser based painting program that requires no downloading, again it has other artists on it that will teach you.
