So someone in the graphic request forum asked for a brushed signature. I've never done any brushing in photoshop but I thought I would give it a try because I like painting irl. I just wanted to get some feedback and constructive criticism on the result so I might be able to make improvements if I continue to do photoshop brushing. I do realize that it would have been an easier first if it wasn't limited to the size of a signature.

Not bad at all. You have decent lighting and depth. If you didn't already, I recommend making a larger version first, then shrinking down to sig size once you're done, which will allow for my detail to be added without needing to work with a super small brush all the time. I would stay away from the default leaf brush as well..it messed up the scaling. Also, the yellow leaves and water splashing up look a lot sharper than the rest of the content, which mess up the focus.

I might try another one, this time with a larger canvas size so I have room to work with the details. Also I know I should have stayed away from the default leaf brush but it was like 4am and I was feeling a bit daunted about making all those leaves by hand. lol Next time I'll just take more time to finish it.
