I'd like to start off by saying that this is a very rough design using only in game models of spells because I cannot draw or use photoshop :P I made this quickly to give a visual IDEA of what I would like done. Basically I would like a tattoo of a sorceress displaying a fire and cold spell while having the lightning streak from her staff to her hand. Diablo 2 isn't just a game to me, it symbolizes my childhood and relationship with my father, which is why I want a tattoo of our favourite character. I'd like to know your opinions on different spells to use, different locations for the spells/sorceress, how the final product should look, etc.

I'd like this tattoo either on my upper arm or back. Also if anyone could make a better version of this or create a new one if you're bored, that would be awesome haha :) Thanks in advance for your input.

if this tattoo means so much to you you should probably take your ideas to a professional and let him sketch a tattoo in a way it would look good
in my opinion video game tattoos are the easiest to fuck up/look fucked up
especially considering the diablo2 sorceress isnt as simplistic as say 16-bit mario but also not detailed enough to make it look like it was a real person
sorry im not much help from the graphical standpoint

Thanks! Yeah I haven't taken it to see an artist yet because I'm not 100% sure about the idea and wanted to get some opinions first. I hear ya about the sorceress, I'm hoping that when I go to an artist they can interpret her general design and roll with it. Hey don't apologize I appreciate your input. I'll be going to the best artist I can find and will need a detailed sketch before it gets put on my body lol. I'm serious when it comes to permanent things like this.

Well you have a few things that the artist will be asking you.
Like are you looking for it be a realistic tattoo where it is believable that the sorceress is a real being.
Or do you want it to remain in the art-style of it being a video game character?

Color or Black and Gray? Personally I love the black and gray tattoo palettes but I am looking at getting a new color piece done after I finish my current piece. (Lol)

Something I have seen before on a tattoo, although it was a sorcerer? rather a sorceress, (I'm so used to wizard/witch xd) - but it was rather similar concept.
The guy had it so each hand was displaying a different element he chose to have Fire/Cold displayed on the hands, while along with that he had a "shock" effect happening over the whole body.
All in all it turned out pretty well, although it was included on his elemental sleeve, looked pretty sick.

I'm really bad at finding sources to represent what I am talking about but kinda of what I mean with the shock effect, just has lightning running all around: http://media.steampowered.com/steamcommunity/public/images/items/256410/f54f36e8926bf2cda08e8d031635741c773eb2ec.jpg
probably know what I mean, if not :S
but GL on it, make sure to either post up or pm the sketch/final result whether you do or do not get it.

Those are some good things to think about, thank you for that. I think this would look best in colour. That's awesome! Elemental sleeve..that sounds kick ass. I see what you mean. Just picturing how cool that'd look all over someone's body, damn. Yeah for sure - lots of thinking to do first. Thank you for the advice :)

/edit I think what I'll do is get a professional sketch and see what an artist's interpretation is. I'll pitch them what I pitched you guys xD Thank you for your input everyone

Gotta admit I laughed more than I should have at that :) I just realized I can't even afford a shako in game... Sad day.
