I was talking to a friend of mine, and I do rather enjoy random doodling but get frustrated cause I can never put what I see in my head onto the paper. However, she advised me I should still get a tablet to just mess around with

I don't really care too much about money, but whats a good tablet I should look for? That being said, I'm in no way rich so I can't afford some 500 dollar tablet.

Any advice is much appreciated, I'll even send nudes I find via google

Old bamboo is replaced by Intuos now and new Bamboo series is made to be even more basic. At the price of 40$, it is definitely a choice but if you want something little better and with better features then Intuos series is starting in about 80$.

These take any micro usb cord right? My cat decided to eat mine. -_- The stock one was short as hell anyway though.

I own the monoprice "10 x 6.25-inch Graphic Drawing Tablet (4000 LPI, 200 RPS, 2048 Levels)" and it isn't to bad. The drivers are half decent for a change and for the price you can't really do much better. Although I don't draw or paint outside of doodling so I can't comment on it's accuracy or precision. I have actually yet to take it inside of photoshop or paintool SAI becuase I've been drawing with others at flockmod.com.

The only issue I've had with it so far is one time it decided to stop responding so I had to unplug it and replug it back in a few times to get it to resync.
