Heya guys,

I recently started up with photoshop again, and to my misfurtune i kinda forgot mostpart of it.
Im slowly getting into it again, but im having extreme problems with making for example:

Lines, dots, to glow bright without it looking really bad.

Also addind glows to abstract brushed backgrounds etc.
Making certain small part glow bright and stuff like that.

Any pro tip you can lay on me? =)
i've been checking a bunch of tut's but cant really seem to figure it out since
most of them just say " and then add some glow effects blablabla "

* ps: just made this Sig below, and couldnt really get like some tiny dots (space like) to glow around in the background.
