hi
i'd like some constructive criticism on the digital painting
suggestions on how to improve the quality of colors and brush strokes would be appreciated
would be especially nice if you can share some good ps brush settings too

nice start
try using some harder brushes, using all soft gives it that blurry feel

would like to see the original photo.
hope you didnt trace or use eyedropper to pick colors from the photo..

that's the original
i didn't trace tho i used the color selector because i wanted it to look realistic

Try again and start with black and white, use hard round brush and soft round brush with pen pressure opacity, start with big brushes, then move to smaller ones.
Also find better reference photos. What do you want to learn to paint? Animals? People? Landscapes? We can help you get better reference if you want.
