Right side is cool. The left kinda seems unatural and forced imo.

I'm enjoying this style, here's another one

The lightning doesn't really make sense. You have bright spots that don't reflect on the render. Also the lines are to thick to be interesting. Make them thinner and do more. Don't force flow with liquify tool.

Lightning is everything. If it doesn't make sense the rest just won't.

I'll try blending better on the next
And about your comment on the lines, I have no idea how to make flow lines, mine never looks right compared to some that I've seen
