I don't know if mezzotint is appropriate, but this is my 1st drawing of this type, didn't have time to complete it entirely though (Head and lower chest)

Every constructive comments will be appreciated ^_^

I knew about the forehead and the top of it, like I said I didn't have time to finish, but thanks for the other remarks ! I probably failed to reproduce the angle of the torso... <_<

Like I said, it is my first ever, so I can understand that proportions are probably fucked at some places ^_^

if you're new to drawing, do some still life before you try to paint people

That's not a female

Shoulders start way too early
You're confused on where the collarbone are supposed to be
You're reserving whites in the wrong places
Might be the picture but there are too many neutral areas

That's not a painting, and I had not choice to try, it was in one of my classes :P

Like I said I didn't have time to finish, especially the contrast part

It wasn't a picture, it was a real human model, and yes for the collarbones (especially the right one) I did it pretty fast because there was not a lot of time remaining to the pose

The model had wide shoulders and had a pretty good muscular mass (She was doing martial arts)

But I'm not considering you're wrong, I might be too, but I can't fin d a picture for you to judge because it wasn't one :S

Keep the comments going :D

you shouldnt jump right into rendering from the start. make sure your sketch is solid beforehand.... otherwise youre preparing to fail

I see, I see, but like I said I didn't have time to finish this aspect, especially the left side of the face :P

I know, but we had a limited time, I'm very punctilious and I would've used 3 hours minimum to complete it correctly and fix all the errors. The point of this exercise was the practice the technique at first :S
