So, I just got a tablet and decided to learn digital painting!

Here is my second painting so far:

looks like dog poop in a puddle

work on simple stuff
still life (not poop) like fruits etc
im pretty sure unclemuscles or theshattered or maybe even sena have a few links for beginner tutorials, try giving them a shout

Start with the basics. Do shapes. Spheres, Cubes, cylinders, etc. Then work up to still life after you understand shadows, light sources, cast shadows, etc.

Your water looks very cool imo but the mountains look funny lol

..oh well this is awkward... is it on cs5? If so where can I find it :)?

Lol, like killkill said, I used motion blur + distortion to get the water effect
