Lmk please, I'm looking to make some .ttf's to use since I have many different ideas for fonts

Hi,

I use FontCreator for editing TrueType Fonts (ttf),
you can get a trial version here:

you can use illustrator to graph your x-height and ascenders/descenders/caps, but other than that, illustrator is an awful choice.

is it mac-exclusive? how does it compare to fontlab; because i fucking hated using fontlab

I just used the grid in Illustrator to get the look I was going for. I've always liked the font the NHL uses in their logo and figured I'd try to do something similar. I do need to familiarize myself with some font software though so I can actually save a .ttf file and do all the letters.



Also, I don't have a Mac or the OS to use on a new partition so I can't use that one program you guys are talking about. =/
