Idk why this happens but whenever I make something in photoshop, it looks larger after being uploaded even though it says it's the same pixel size.

They are both 400 x 150 px so this doesn't really make sense and I'm fucking up quality because of it most of the time.
Anyone know why this happens? It's really annoying D:

Check if you've zoomed in at all in your browser

Nope, I hit ctrl + 0 and it's still the same
and the little bar at the bottom of ps shows that the image is also 100% so no zoom in/out there
(ctl + 0 is the correct command to put the zoom back to normal right?)

E: If I zoom out twice on browser, it matches the size but everything looks so damn tiny

I'll just keep it zoomed out, it'll take a bit of getting used to but at least it matches now

What resolution is it set at? For web use it's best to use 72 resolution..some use 96, but 72 is fine. You can also specify measurement, whether you want inches or pixels.

Also, hit ctrl+R to bring up the photoshop ruler if that helps.

It's at 72, Firefox has an initial higher resolution that doesn't match 1920 x 1080 but it can be lowered by reconfiguring the setting or something o.o
