Hi!

I hope you guys aren't too sick of these topics I hope you will read this before you critic my latest attempt. I can actually see a couple problems, but I'm not really sure about them. Left looks a bit empty, but I feel I've already made too many effects and it became too clustered. But maybe that's not the case. Ok, so a while ago I took a break from making "signatures". I wasn't that good anyway :/ Went into photo manipulation, did a couple background for my friend etc., and decided to go back to making signatures, but now I want to do it right (therefore, this thread ^^). I've stopped using style tutorials and read a couple of basic signature tuts. Composition, lightning, flow and similar. After I had a feeling I knew enough to make some progress I tried a new signature. I even made a sketch how it would supposed to look (a tip in one of the tutorials). But I just kept getting stuck in one same routine on making sigs, or the new attempts weren't good (even to my eye). So I pulled my sh*t together, and made the following sig. Now it's time for your comments and criticism. I'll try to keep in mind your tips, comments and similar, in hope I'll get better. Eventually



Oh, and I just didn't know where to put the text, so I just didn't add it :/

Forgive me if this is a noob question, but why not just add text in bottom left?

Thanks, but I tried a couple positions, styles and fonts, and nothing I tried seemed to work ^^ And I didn't want to put text on it, if it would ruin the pic. Perhaps I would add it, if it was my signature, but for this, there is no need for text unless it enhances the pic At least I think so.

Adding text regardless of reason normally ruins the composition of a signature unless you're just pro like that. I like this in a way, it seems to have a good atmosphere except for the strong light source seems kind-of weird. Compared to your current signature (I do not know if you made it) it's definitely a step above.

Thanks. Yeah, I should change my sig ^^ The render was kinda bright in that spot, so I tried to build around it and make it my light source.

Put a little more thought in background. Tried to make it flow. I need some ideas, though.. I usually use nebula/space stock or fractals for my background. Any ideas? I don't want to use the same style everytime..

I think your render use and placement can use some work but ive seen worse just keep at it you will progress

Thanks for the comment. I try to follow the rule of thirds. It would supposed to be a bit more right, but I thought this way would look a bit better.

Yea and work on blending and foreground shit, depth too
And the compo is kinda whack with everything so center focused
