the edges on my popouts need some work, and i just cant seem to get them right, any advice??

See how you've erased the portions of the canvas all around the edge? That's what's causing that terrible transparency "pop-out" look to your signature. Furthermore, you've saved the image as .png so it doesn't even fill the transparent bits in for you!
