I just sketched up a lion but I can't get the paint to blend properly. I use a regular soft brush with some tweaks as well as the flow set to 50% to mix paint. Now when I put the two layers of color next to each other and start blending, it blends with low opacity. Then when I lift up my pen, I try to blend again, and the paint goes underneath the blended colors rather than on top. It's very confusing, as I don't have anything enabled that would cause this. It's not like I'm painting on a new layer or anything..

Any help?

Is your brush set to linear dodge or color dodge on the top left settings?
