I was always curious how to make portraits like these:

If you're bored and good at photoshop, I would definitely love some tips on what to do.

Take a portrait of you facing to the left. Use the pen tool to outline the portrait of you and create a vector mask. Make your background black. Use a soft black brush and blend the backside of your portrait into the background. Use the dodge tool to add light towards the front of your face.
