I dont do much gfx and when i do i usually go Cartoon + dark style.
since people here seems to like signatures to be more light, here's one i've done tonight.
Btw i know i'll get told about the text but... i suck at texts :(
*Take note that i wont change anything on this signature, the comments will be for the ones ill make later*

- The black n white version is because the signature is over 70kb in color -

Real version (not for jsp):

By the way Arcaeus, you'll get reported for spam if you're once again an asshole. I wont even talk to you if you still act like a child.

The rule of thirds is off. The red dots represent where the focus should be. With interesting things to move the eyes around landing on any of the lines.

See how it becomes a lot more appealing when things line up on those points?

I know about the rule of third since im into photography but i like to do things different otherwise it wouldl get old pretty damn fast :p
I rarely do things with a plan, i go with a feeling and i try things.
But imo, it would look weird to put her right in the middle since she's looking on the left (it would look weird to be at the far right too)

If you look at my profile you'll see that most of my subjects are off-center because i feel it looks better being a bit more on one side of the piece (But that might be only a matter of taste)

edit: Yeah damn man, im with you with the edit you just did. I thought it wuold look weird on the far right but i was wrong

It's derived from a mathematical equation that produces the "golden spiral " which is a complex version of the rule of thirds. It's something that occurs in nature and is a lot more visually appealing. It has been used time and time again for a reason. It's not something that you can really stray from while still keeping the composition of anything appealing.

It explains why the 9 seconds for the rule of thirds is good. Just use them each time you make anything, make sure interesting stuff is on the lines or the intersections of it and it's good enough for signatures. :p
