So my work wants me to do caricatures of our employees but I have never used a tablet. I can draw with a pencil/pen alright but the tablet just seems so awkward, was wondering if anyone had links to Emu's old shapes and lighting tuts with the basic pen settup stuff, anything to help me get comfortable and practice essentially.

i'll check it out, I think my main problem is the large screen I'm using and the very small bamboo I'm using. Just out of curiosity, when you are doing outlines, do you use a small brush or a medium sized brush? Seeing as I've just been making it like a encil i've been using like 2x brush which tends to just create a mess what with my lack of accuracy with this thing lol

depends, usually smaller around 3-4 pixels? I guess it depends on document size ;p

Mostly use the hard round brush with a fixed width

alright, i guess i just need to get used to the feel of it, only played with it for a few hours, just can't get past the not seeing where my pencil is in relation to my drawing, makes my lines super bad XC
