pretty good start like how the vertical lines help your eyes scroll from top to bottom and bottom to top

once i got the grid down i realized kick ass was on and that i still have a meeting with the client on wednesday to "discuss" what route they want to take, so i'm gonna watch kickass because i've never seen it.

You should make your art-board bigger, if you design in small spaces it restricts yo shit, I usually do a 1300x2000 document to start off with.

i feel like the color coordination you are using is fantastic, i love me some teal and pink.

teal is photoshops default grid line color, they wont actually show up when saved
as for the concept i feel like vertical pink lines arent much to show a client...
mabe add some cool horizontal effects and vary the width of the vertical ones?
for a background i know simple is good but this kinda made me lul
