lighting is way way off... why are your skys always so saturated.... lower the saturation a bit... and dont make your lighting so harsh.

Scrap it, move on.

Choose stocks with matching light. You've got a purple sky and a green ocean, doesn't make sense.
Direction of light doesn't match.
Human is poorly rendered.
Why is the car making white water?
Massive splashes on the rocks yet there is no waves at all.

i thought direction of the light worked D:

couldnt figure out how to add in waves at those angles

Photo manip is pretty simple theoretically.
Just think logically; what area do you want to be in focus; what's the focal; what's the colour scheme, etc.

I appreciate that

I was pretty much wingin it, adding stuff in, watching tuts on effects....

the purple/orange gradient is what screwed it up my colors i think

was trying to get a 'rustic' look
