I was browsing through my old photobucket and found some of the old work I did. I couldn't stop laughing so I thought I'd share them with you.
Here's a little bit of back story:
I started fooling around with graphics back in '05 because I wanted to make a signature for Smash World Forums with mario and Pierre Bernard. (I grew up watching Late Night /w Conan O'briend and loved the new Recliner of rage skits)
My first programs were MS Paint and some terrible software I got with a webcam I purchased, I'm pretty sure it was Photo Impression. After that I kept messing around with it because I love creating stuff.
On July 11th 2008 I shipped out to bootcamp for the US Army and had a falling out with graphics. I didn't start back up until recently during Nov of 2012. I missed the creative outlet it provided, so decided to search for a free
editing program and came across Gimp. Since then I've been practicing almost everyday trying to build up my craft.
If you're new to graphic design or interested in it hopefully this timeline will show you that we all have our roots and start from somewhere. Stay motivated and keep practicing, even if you're a seasoned pro there's always room for improvement.
So here's my work from past to present. I apologize for the image being rather large in advance

Its always nice to see others give encouragement, and want to inspire.
I do see you've improved over the years, keep it up.
