Would Cs2 Still Be Something Good To Use? - Topic

I want to start making sigs, and wallpapers, and ya know thumbnails for vids and what not.. but I personally don't like gimp, so I was wondering would adobe cs2 be something.. Suitable? I guess you could say to accomplish all these

CS2 is still more than enough to make decent signatures and thumbnails. Anything CS2+ is plenty.

I also don't recommend GIMP if you're able to get your hands on PS.

new photoshop versions are really just bloated with added features to make people fork out money for the updated software

i've been using cs2 since it came out and there's no real reason to switch to anything higher than cs4

plus, cs2 is free now, so there's no reason to use gimp

cs2 is great but cs6 is nice for slightly better smudge options and that content aware business
