Good evening! Could someone lead me in the right direction and tell me what graphic design software is best to use for making banners, logos, backgrounds, avatars etc?
Want to learn from scratch and be able to do some decent job in few months. Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

Should i buy the latest version or it's better to use the free ones that i may find over the internet? I could pay something around 20-30$ but not more. Have to say that i got no experience at all in using such programs.

Use photoshop, you can either download it for free or you can download it for free. Don't look at too many tutorials, rather concentrate on learning the ins and outs of art itself, like composition, depth, colors, the way your brain and eyes interpret pieces and designs,, etc. I'd say its way more helpful to read about it before you even open the program. Google is your friend, deviant art is your friend, you get the idea.

Also don't take Cnc too hard, don't post your early stuff without expecting to get ripped, at least on here. I look back on some of my reactions to earlier cnc and laugh a little. Don't take it to heart and trust that you'll suck balls at it for a few months

Do you know a website where you may learn some basics or maybe a book? Will need to study more theory first and then go practice. If don't have enough knowledge it's hard to deal with something new. Thanks for all advices!

Logos should be made in illustrator when it comes to the professional level. Since you're just talking about jsp, then just stick with photoshop.
