So, the place I work is looking to brand their restaurant separately from the banquet hall.

and my chef asked if I could get a logo together, (im not being paid)

so... with out too much effort I looked around the webs and found some varying logo designs to get an idea of what she was after.

These were her favorite





I tried to keep close to this, and took what she suggested.




will alter it for varying uses, such as labels and adverts. ect ect


I mostly said yes because when they design anything its so awful.

to be honest, I know. I'm not entering this as a creative consultant that is going to tell them to trust me and to go with my ideas.


I'm the pastry guy that knows how to use photo shop a little, and my chef thinks she knows it all. I honestly dont care enough to even try and change her mind.

So, really im looking to just make what I've got a little better. but know, that as is. she will love it.


On the first two, I picked just to get an idea.. I had like 20 logos, and she picked the worst two I had in there.

if you're not being paid then just go with what she wants /shrug. I can't really say I like any of them either, the font should be edited a bit for sure, and the logo seems awkward in many ways, but yeah if no money is in it, then she gets what she wants at minimal effort.

Anything you will be able to stand looking at when you show up for work / on the menus / etc
