Seems pretty LQ, and i think too much of the effects are blurred.

the LQ probably from the blurring i did to it. i was just trying to add a lil depth and bring out the focal.

Do that with dodge and burn. When you sharpen, use smart sharpen. Play with the highlight and shadow settings, zoom in and make sure they're not over sharpening.

thanks for the feedback. i use smart sharpen but i feel like i over sharpen sometimes.

looks like u used high pass on a l/q render to me, but could just be your smart sharpen settings
i like to set mine at 180 / .2 if memory serves me
i like the bg effects but they seem to be lacking somehow

I like it to be honest

Only thing I personally would do is add your name in the top left with a font that blends with the effects (just seems a little too empty in that area)
