Well I tried smudging again after a really long time, anyone have any ideas how I can make the smudge more interesting or how I can add more colors in it.
I think it's kinda boring atm, or should I just scrap this and start a new one? :/

Yea I realize that now, it always says on tuts sharpen every layer but that doesn't really work when you're just beginning
As for adding more, I've been trying, I'm really bad at smudge and I've tried a few things but nothing is really working :/

Ignore these tutorials, they don't know what they're talking about.
