for the printing question before you print it make sure it doesnt say anything about "letter size" or w/e that usually makes it print smaller

printing is determined by two things, the pixels per inch and the actual size
if you determine the size in ps by pixels, then ppi will affect it
where if you only do the size in ps in inches or cm, then your pictures might not be as sharp because of the lack of pixels, low definition
so like, printing the usually want 300 ppi, and for online stuff, 72 default is sufficient
