Hello.

Having trouble scaling an image down from a picture, so was wondering how you guys here normally do it? - I have a picture but I'd like to fit in inside a 184px - 184px box for my steam DP.

Crop or resize?

Assuming you don't have any non standard with microsoft editing software - because I doubt you'd be asking this if you did.

To crop, right click image -> open in panit
Use the "select" tool to select the area you want for your image
Hold shift when you click and drag the select tool so your crop is a perfect square -> hit "Crop"

Right under 'Crop' click 'Resize'
At the top of the Resize box click Pixels (percent selected by default)
Type your deired demensions in. In this case, 184x184
Hit Ok

File -> save as -> PNG
