For some reason when this has transparency set it has all the layers in the background.
but if you turn off transparency or add a color background it doesn't have that error
Any Ideas on why this happens or how to fix it?

looks like your background is above a layer of the lil guy that is being shown through all of the frames, and when you take the background out it's showing. Looks like it's just 1

I could never figure it out because I made one for all my friends and only hers was getting screwed.

This happens if you enable "Do not dispose" at the timeline.
Set it to "automatic" or "Dispose".
