I want to do some of this on my own to pass the free time

im not sure ill be into it that much

what are some good free photo editing softwares that i can use?
not lookin for illegal downloads FYI

GIMP is one you may want to check out, or you can download a CS6 trial which will last 30 days.

i just found this pdf book "GIMP for absolute beginners" - Jan Smith, Roman Joost, and will see if it's for any help :) have to start with the basics and heard this is a good learning book
