Still really dislike your font, specially dat first one.

Smudging is pretty well done and ideas are awesome, but... dat font.

it's not his style.

I think the flow in the first one is way off, second one is much better.
They would look better without names, the typos don't look so nice.

Edit: I also feel like the render in your first attempt is too sharpened.
